Frequently Asked Questions

The admission process at Dream Home Care typically involves an initial assessment to determine the individual's needs and eligibility. This is followed by a tour of the home and meetings with staff to discuss the individual's goals and support needs. Finally, the individual and their support network will work with us to develop a care plan and transition plan.

Our staff are highly trained and experienced in working with individuals with disabilities. We provide ongoing training and support to ensure that our staff are equipped to meet the unique needs of our residents. They have the following qualifications:

• Trained and holds current CPR/ First Aid certification
• Trained and holds current Medication Management certification – 32 hour course
• Trained and holds current CHOI (behavior management) certification
• Cleared through criminal background investigation and drug testing
• Demonstrated skills and abilities in supporting individuals with disabilities

We welcome visitors to our home. However, we ask that visitors schedule visits in advance to ensure that they do not disrupt the daily routines of our residents.
